Since you are still responsible for your records even after we take them, you certainly deserve to know how your confidential material is handled. Whatever the level of sensitivity, all of your confidential material is treated with the same utmost care.

Bonded and Insured Company

Western Record Destruction is a fully bonded and insured company. We specialize in the destruction of confidential records and certify that the material has in fact been destroyed. We carry a two million dollar general liability policy as well as a one million dollar errors and omissions policy to protect our customers in the unlikely event that material falls into the wrong hands. We have never had a claim against either of these policies.

Tested and Bonded Employees

All of our employees authorized to handle your confidential records have undergone drug testing, back ground checks and yearly training. The annual training reinforces safety and security. Unannounced random audits are conducted by senior staff as well as NAID. NAID is the certifying body for Information Destruction in the US. Background checks are made through the Idaho Department of Law Enforcement.

Our staff has been trained understand the rules and regulations of HIPAA, FACTA, and PCI compliance. Through our strict chain of custody, we help our customers to meet the regulations placed on PHI as well as all confidential customer information.
